Last updated: May 22, 2026

At Ramle, your privacy matters. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and how we protect it across our web and mobile apps. Ramle is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old.

01.What we collect

We collect information you provide when you sign in and build your profile, including your email address, username, name, date of birth, country, city, photos, bio, interests, activity preferences, languages, and related profile metadata. We may also process your online status and last activity time. We also collect content and activity created inside Ramle, such as connection requests, event titles, descriptions, dates, addresses, attendance, event comments, chat messages, images sent in chat, message read status, message edit history, and reports you submit about other users or content. We automatically collect technical and usage data such as your IP address, device or browser type, app version, pages or screens viewed, session and cookie data, interactions, diagnostics, web push subscription data, mobile device tokens, analytics data, and server logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

02.How we use your data

We use your data to: • Create and maintain your account, including sign-in with email and password, Google, or Apple • Process authentication data requested during social login, such as your Google basic profile and email • Show your profile, match you with relevant people, and help you discover events and activities • Deliver product features such as chats, connection requests, event participation, comments, notifications, and profile settings • Send service communications and notifications, including email, web push, and mobile push notifications when enabled • Measure product usage, troubleshoot errors, and improve the experience • Protect the platform, review reports, investigate abuse, support moderation, and enforce our terms

03.How we share your data

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with trusted service providers that help us run Ramle, including major authentication, cloud storage, analytics, push delivery, email delivery, error monitoring, and internal alerting providers. This may include services such as Google OAuth, Apple sign-in, Google Cloud Storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Analytics 4, and similar providers we use to operate the service. They may process data only on our behalf and for service-related purposes. Information you choose to publish inside the product — such as your profile, events, comments, attendance, and chat content shared with other users — is visible to the users involved in those features. We may also disclose data if required by law or when necessary to protect our users, enforce our policies, respond to security issues, or support safety and abuse investigations.

04.How we protect your data

We use industry-standard safeguards such as encrypted transmission, access controls, and service-level security tools to protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or data has been accessed without authorization, contact us immediately.

05.Cookies & analytics

On web, we use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions, support sign-in, remember preferences, and understand how the product is used. We currently use tools such as: • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 on web to measure traffic, page usage, and product events. • Error monitoring and analytics tools on web and mobile to diagnose stability issues and understand feature usage. • Push notification services on mobile and web to enable notifications and manage device tokens or subscriptions. • Internal logging and observability tools, including server logs used for security, debugging, and operational monitoring. These providers may receive technical data such as device identifiers, app or browser details, usage events, push subscription data, and crash, diagnostic, or log information.

06.Your rights

You can access and update much of your profile information inside the app. You also have the right to: • Request access to the personal data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your account, subject to the retention practices described below • Control optional email, web push, and mobile push notifications in settings If you delete your account, we currently use a soft-delete process rather than immediate full erasure. We may retain data such as your email, profile fields, photos, chat history, deleted-message records, connection history, reports, and related safety or moderation records for safety, moderation, abuse investigation, legal compliance, and enforcement purposes. Messages marked as deleted may remain stored and may only be flagged as deleted internally. You can delete your account in the app or contact us at [email protected] for privacy-related requests.
